Dinner and A Movie

Movie reference: Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991) Artist Statement: This Dinner and A Movie photo are what I would call a futuristic silver platter. However, that is not the only way to describe it. The color of the items appears to be chromatic as everything, except for the small details on the toy robot, is presented in different hues of gray. I wrapped everything, except the robot, magnetic rocks, and giant coin, with tin foil to resemble the silver hues of the photo. This includes the cup, plate, light, the two toy cars, and use another piece of tin foil as a tablecloth. The toy robot, magnetic rocks, and the coin were already represented with a gray color. The photo was meant to resemble saving the future while preventing any bad happenings in the very late twentieth century. The items are what the titular character of the movie is associated with.

A few of my favorite things

  1. VHS cover (with videotape inside) (Annie) - Annie is considered to be one of my favorite films from the early 1980's, which also falls under one of my most favorite film categories, musicals. I have enjoyed watching musical films since I first watched movies when I was a toddler. 2.Wave sign necklace - I got this necklace with the wave symbol in downtown St. Augustine, right by my school, Flagler College, back in March 2021. This necklace also reminded me of one of my favorite places in Florida, St. Augustine, which is where I currently live during my time attending college. It was also a gift from my mom that I got during my spring break of that year. 3. Massage roller - This roller is what I use to feel the texture of my body and how smooth it feels when I am relaxed. 4. Worry Stone - This stone is what I use to relieve myself from anxiety and stress whenever I come into a situation where things are about to get worse or if I feel like that I am stuck with some much work to
