Two Head Sculpture progress photos
Artist Statement: I made two different sculptures with two different topics for each one. The first head sculpture was a representation of two different emotions, happiness, and anger, which are the two emotions that I can express a lot in some cases. The second head sculpture was a multicolor style of the word "Amazing!", which represents how I view art in general. For the first head sculpture, I had to mold it into the nose to get it to stick out because that was the one part of the face that does that compared to the rest. The second thing I did was I had to press in the location where the eyes were so that I could place in two small balls to make them look like the pupils. As a result of the eyeball curving, I managed to create eyebrows for both faces, which was a way to demonstrate the feeling.
